  8.     is wrong and looks questioningly at Worf. After a 
  9.     beat, Worf looks up, meeting O'Brien's gaze.

  12.             I have decided to resign from 
  13.             Starfleet.

  15.                     O'BRIEN
  16.             Resign? What are you talking about?

  18.                     WORF
  19.             I have made up my mind. It is for 
  20.             the best.

  22.                     O'BRIEN
  23.             Look, I know how much you miss the 
  24.             Enterprise, but I'm sure they'll 
  25.             be building a new one soon.

  27.     But to O'Brien's surprise, this doesn't seem to be a 
  28.     factor in Worf's decision.

  30.                     WORF 
  31.             It will not be the same.

  33.             The Enterprise I knew is gone. 
  34.             Those were good years, but it's 
  35.             time for me to move on.

  41.             I don't know. I thought I would 
  42.             be returning to Boreth. But now, 
  43.             that's impossible. I have made an 
  44.             enemy of Gowron, and of every 
  45.             other Klingon in the Empire.

  47.                     O'BRIEN
  48.             All the more reason to stay in 
  49.             Starfleet.

  51.                     WORF
  52.             This uniform will only serve as a  
  53.             reminder of how I have disgraced 
  54.             myself in the eyes of my people. 
  55.                 (thinking) 
  56.             I suppose I could get a berth on 
  57.             a Nyberrite Alliance Cruiser.
