DEEP SPACE NINE: "Way... Warrior" - 07/07/95 - ACT THREE 34.
ACT THREE
FADE IN:
45 INT. CAPTAIN'S OFFICE
Sisko is standing behind his desk, looking out at the
stars. The door opens and Worf ENTERS.
WORF
Lieutenant Commander Worf
reporting for duty.
SISKO
It's good to have you aboard,
commander.
WORF
Thank you, sir.
Worf's bearing is very military and precise. He's
standing at attention and Sisko realizes that he's
waiting to be told to stand at ease.
SISKO
At ease, Mister Worf.
Worf's posture relaxes somewhat, but we can see
that he's still treating this as a formal occasion. Sisko
tries to break the ice.
SISKO
I was sorry to hear about the
Enterprise. She was a good ship.
WORF
(trying to be stoic)
Yes, sir.
Sisko sees that this is not something that Worf wants
to dwell on, and quickly changes the subject.
SISKO
I understand you've been on
extended leave ...
WORF
I've been visiting the Klingon
monastery on Boreth. I found my
discussions with the clerics
there... most enlightening.
