DEEP SPACE NINE: "Way... Warrior" - 07/07/95 - ACT TWO 24.
ACT TWO
FADE IN:
27 INT. INFIRMARY
Bashir is treating Garak for his injuries. He's
already done most of the patching up, though Garak is
still sore.
BASHIR
I can't believe you're not pressing
charges.
GARAK
Constable Odo and Captain Sisko
expressed similar concern. But
really, Doctor, there was no harm
done.
BASHIR
They broke seven of your
transverse ribs and fractured your
clavicle.
GARAK
But I got off several cutting
remarks that no doubt did serious
damage to their egos.
BASHIR
Garak, it's not funny.
GARAK
I'm serious, Doctor. Thanks to
your ministrations, I'm almost
completely healed. The damage I
did to them will last a lifetime.
(a beat)
What I can't understand is their
inexplicable hostility toward me.
Maligning Constable Odo is one
thing... after all he is a
changeling and the Klingons don't
know him as well as we do. But
relations between the Klingon and
Cardassian Empires have never been
anything but amicable.
BASHIR
With the exception of the Betreka
Nebula incident.
GARAK
(dismissive)
A minor skirmish.
