DEEP SPACE NINE: "Way... Warrior" - 07/07/95 - ACT ONE 13.
13 CONTINUED:
To their surprise, Quark sits down at the table with
them.
QUARK
(quietly)
Listen. Do you hear that?
BASHIR
I don't hear a thing.
QUARK
Exactly. The ambient noise level
in this room is less than thirty
decibels. On an average day it's
sixty-five. When there're
Klingons in the room, it can go as
high as eighty-five.
O'BRIEN
So what you're saying is, it's
quiet in here.
QUARK
Too quiet. Something is terribly
wrong.
BASHIR
Like what?
QUARK
I don't know. But have you ever
met a quiet Klingon before?
(a beat)
And look at the way they're
watching the room. It's like...
they're picking out targets.
O'Brien gets up.
QUARK
(panicky)
Where are you going?
O'BRIEN
I thought I'd ask the Klingons
what they're up to.
Quark knows he's kidding, but can't take chances.
QUARK
Don't do that.
O'BRIEN
Why not?
