  10.     as Sisko ENTERS and nods to Odo, who's sitting at his desk.

  12.                     SISKO
  13.             I'm ready...
  14.  
  15.     Odo regards him with a somber expression for a beat...
  16.  
  17.                     ODO
  18.             Are you sure about this, Commander?
  19.  
  20.                     SISKO
  21.             Don't worry, Odo.  Joran's not going 
  22.             to be able to hurt anyone from inside 
  23.             a holding cell.
  24.  
  25.                     ODO
  26.             There's just one problem... you're 
  27.             going to be in there with him...
  28.  
  29.     Sisko holds his look for a beat, then heads toward the door 
  30.     that leads to the holding area... Odo watches for a beat, 
  31.     then stands and follows...

  33. 28   INT. HOLDING AREA (OPTICAL)
  34.  
  35.     The Guardian is standing between Dax and Sisko, who are seated 
  36.     inside one of the holding cells.  The Guardian has just 
  37.     finished transferring Joran's memories to Sisko, who's not 
  38.     breathing, his head slumped onto his chest.  Odo stands 
  39.     outside, watching.  The Guardian gestures to Dax, and they 
  40.     both EXIT the cell.

  42.                     GUARDIAN
  43.                 (to Odo)
  44.             Activate the forcefield...
  45.  
  46.     Odo works a wall panel, and the forcefield FRITZES ON.  As 
  47.     they watch, Sisko suddenly draws a breath... after a beat, 
  48.     he lifts his head... he sees Dax looking in at him, and his 
  49.     lips curl into a small smile...

  51.                     DAX
  52.             Joran... ?
  53.  
  54.     When he speaks it is softly, almost a whisper...
