  15.     We hear the SOUND of the Computer engaging.

  18.             Are there any messages for me?

  20.                     COMPUTER VOICE
  21.             One... a communication from 
  22.             Wellington, New Zealand.

  24.     Jake moves toward the computer monitor.

  27.             Display it on screen...

  29.     As Jake reads off the screen we first get the impression 
  30.     that he's received some surprising but welcome news... after 
  31.     a moment, however, a look of concern crosses his features... 
  32.     off his thoughtful face...
