  8. 19   INT. HABITAT RING CORRIDOR (CONTINUOUS)

  10.     Bashir watches as one light after another goes out in the 
  11.     corridor and the darkness approaches him like a wall.  Just 
  12.     before the darkness consumes him, Bashir lunges to one side 
  13.     and hits a wall panel.  Doors open and Bashir spins into...
  14.  
  15. 20   INT. TURBOLIFT
  16.  
  17.     Bashir reaches the inside of the Turbolift and hits a control 
  18.     to close the door.  As the door closes, the last light goes 
  19.     out in the corridor, plunging it into darkness.

  21.                     BASHIR
  22.                 (to Turbolift)
  23.             Level H-One, Section "A."
  24.  
  25.     Bashir relaxes.  But before the door can completely shut, a 
  26.     HAND reaches out of the darkness and grabs the door, trying 
  27.     to pry it open.  The hand is gnarled and clearly alien.  The 
  28.     Alien grabs the other side of the door and Bashir finally 
  29.     catches a quick glimpse of his face.

  31.     It's Altovar, the alien from the Promenade.
  32.  
  33.                     BASHIR
  34.                 (realizing)
  35.             Altovar.
  36.  
  37.     The Lethean tries to force the door open, straining against 
  38.     the Turbolift's closing mechanism.  He's actually making 
  39.     progress when Bashir rears back and kicks his hands.
  40.  
  41.     Altovar loses his grip and the door finally closes.
  42.  
  43. 21   CLOSE ON BASHIR
  44.  
  45.     As the Turbolift starts to move and Bashir leans back against 
  46.     the wall of the Turbolift in relief.
  47.  
  48.     But seconds later there's a LOUD THUMP like something landing 
  49.     on the roof of the Turbolift.  Bashir looks up and sees that 
  50.     the ceiling has been deformed as if a large weight has been 
  51.     dropped on it.
