  6.     Suddenly Bashir hears a rustling behind the bar, followed 
  7.     by a muted whimpering.

  9.                     BASHIR
  10.             Who's there?
  11.  
  12.     Bashir cautiously approaches the bar and looks over it.
  13.  
  14. 9    BEHIND THE BAR
  15.  
  16.     QUARK is huddled in a corner.  He looks terrified.
  17.  
  18.                     BASHIR
  19.             Quark?
  20.  
  21.     Quark looks up at Bashir, his eyes filled with fear.  He 
  22.     tries to curl himself up even tighter.
  23.  
  24.                     BASHIR
  25.             It's all right.  It's me.  Bashir.
  26.  
  27.     Bashir comes around the bar and approaches Quark, who tires 
  28.     to press himself back closer to the bulkhead.
  29.  
  30.                     BASHIR
  31.             What is it?  What's going on?  Tell 
  32.             me.
  33.  
  34.     Bashir crouches down beside Quark.
  35.  
  36.                     QUARK
  37.             He's going to kill us.  He's going 
  38.             to kill us all.
  39.  
  40.                     BASHIR
  41.             Who?  Who are you so afraid of?
  42.                 (off Quark's frightened 
  43.                 look)
  44.             Where's Sisko?  What happened to the 
  45.             rest of the crew?
  46.  
  47.     Quark shakes his head as if he doesn't know, and as if it 
  48.     doesn't matter.
  49.  
  50.                     BASHIR
  51.                 (reassuring)
  52.             Look, why don't you come with me?  
  53.             We'll go try to find them.
  54.  
  55.                     QUARK
  56.             No.  Don't you see.  If we move, 
  57.             he'll find us.  But if we stay here, 
  58.             we might be safe.
