  6.     Sisko, O'BRIEN, Dax and the two Cardassians -- ULANI and 
  7.     Gilora -- are seated around the table discussing the mission.  
  8.     On the MONITOR we see an OKUDAGRAM of the wormhole, its two 
  9.     funnel-like openings on either end.  On one side is a 
  10.     representation of DS9, on the other, the communications 
  11.     satellite is positioned near the wormhole's mouth.

  13.                     SISKO
  14.             The signaling platform we've designed 
  15.             is intended to be positioned in the 
  16.             Gamma Quadrant at this point...
  17.                 (indicates diagram)
  18.             ... two kilometers from the far mouth 
  19.             of the wormhole.

  21.                     ULANI
  22.             Our transceiver has been configured 
  23.             to fit inside it, and use its existing 
  24.             power grid.

  26.                     GILORA
  27.             A similar transceiver will be put in 
  28.             place here on Terok Nor --
  29.                 (covering)
  30.             -- on Deep Space Nine.

  32.     Gilora is little embarrassed by her slip of the tongue, but 
  33.     our people don't seem to be bothered by it.

  36.             Ulani, I've looked over your design 
  37.             specifications.  I'm not clear what 
  38.             sort of carrier wave you're planning 
  39.             to use to cut through the interference 
  40.             inside the wormhole.
