  20. 28   EXT. SANCTUARY STREET - DAY #4

  22.     Somewhere deep in the district.  The street is deserted... 
  23.     the residents are either in hiding or manning the barricades 
  24.     along the perimeter.

  26. 29   CLOSE ON A MANHOLE COVER
  27.  
  28.     as it moves... is lifted out of place from underneath and 
  29.     pushed aside.  A hand reaches up to get a grip, and Dax pulls 
  30.     herself up and out.  She looks around, sees no one, and 
  31.     replaces the cover...
  32.  
  33.     She starts down the street, taking in the dilapidated 
  34.     surroundings.  A beat, and then a dim, GRADY, steps out of a 
  35.     building into the street behind her.  He watches her, his 
  36.     intentions unclear...

  38. 30   INT. PROCESSING CENTER - DAY #4 (VPB)

  40.     Sisko and Bashir are working on the Interface terminal behind 
  41.     the counter, trying to get on-line.  They're frustrated 
  42.     because no matter what they try, they can't get past a basic 
  43.     menu screen.

  45.                     SISKO
  46.             Try opening that menu.

  48.     Bashir touches the screen with the stylus.

  51.                 (frustrated)
  52.             It just brings me back to the same 
  53.             screen.  There doesn't seem to be 
  54.             any way to get past the lockout and 
  55.             log onto the Net.
