  14.             Fine.

  16.     Keiko leaves to go change.  O'Brien watches her go.  He's 
  17.     not enjoying himself.

  19.                     O'BRIEN
  20.                 (to himself, ironic)
  21.             I can hardly wait.

  23. 16   INT. PROMENADE - OUTSIDE THE BAJORAN SHRINE
  24.  
  25.     A large crowd, mostly Bajoran, has gathered in front of the 
  26.     platform where Kira stands next to the unlit brazier.  Many 
  27.     people in the crowd are carrying paper scrolls and there are 
  28.     baskets of additional scrolls on either side of the platform.  
  29.     Among the crowd are Sisko, DAX, Bashir, Jake, Odo and Bareil.

  31.     Keiko and O'Brien are standing off to one side, not 
  32.     participating as actively as the others.  Keiko is wearing 
  33.     one of her casual outfits (not the red dress).  She looks 
  34.     tired and O'Brien looks like a man whose balloon has just 
  35.     popped.

  37.     Kira holds up a flask of oil and intones an ancient 
  38.     ritualistic Bajoran blessing.
  39.  
  40.                     KIRA
  41.             Tesra Peldor impatri bren.  Bentel 
  42.             vetan ullon sten.
  43.  
  44.     Kira holds the flask high and tilts it slowly.  A stream of 
  45.     burning liquid pours from the spout into the metal brazier, 
  46.     setting the contents of the brazier alight.
  47.  
  48.     The crowd breaks into cheers.  Lwaxana comes up to Odo and 
  49.     smiles as if to say, "Here I am."  Odo, who has been watching 
  50.     Kira intently, sighs and tries to smile in return.
