  9.             Sixty-one...

  11.     On the display, the Defiant symbol FIRES at the outpost, 
  12.     then turns and heads back into the DMZ.  The Cardassian 
  13.     warships are chasing it.
  14.  
  15.                     GUL DUKAT
  16.                 (to Soldier)
  17.             Tell Gul Toran that he has permission 
  18.             to pursue the Defiant into the 
  19.             Demilitarized Zone.
  20.  
  21.                     SISKO
  22.                 (urgent)
  23.             No, don't pull your ships off the 
  24.             border.
  25.  
  26.                     GUL DUKAT
  27.             Commander, you don't expect me to 
  28.             give up pursuit of the Defiant just 
  29.             because the treaty --

  32.                 (urgent)
  33.             That's not the Defiant.  It's a 
  34.             decoy... they're trying to draw your 
  35.             patrol ships out of position.
  36.                 (points to console 
  37.                 screen)
  38.             That ship's sending out a fake warp 
  39.             signature identical to the Defiant, 
  40.             but the phase variance and subspace 
  41.             harmonics don't match.

  43.     Dukat looks at the information on the console, then glances 
  44.     up at the screen.  The Cardassian warships are now deep into 
  45.     the zone, chasing the decoy Defiant.

  49.             Order Toran to break off pursuit.

  53.                 (urgent)
  54.             Sir -- another perimeter alert!  
  55.             Outpost Forty-seven has detected a 
  56.             cloaked ship with their anti-proton 
  57.             beam!
