  20.             She's gone into warp.  I've lost 
  21.             them.

  23.     OFF Sisko's stunned reaction as he begins to realize what's 
  24.     happened and he looks determined to do something about it.

  26.                                     CUT TO:

  28. 20   INT. DEFIANT - BRIDGE

  30.     Kalita is sitting at the helm.  Tamal is working at a 
  31.     bulkhead, which is spewing out gas and smoke.  Riker is 
  32.     sitting in the command chair.

  34.                     KALITA
  35.                 (off console)
  36.             We're beyond their sensor range.
  37.  
  38.                     RIKER
  39.             Set course for the Badlands.  Warp 
  40.             seven.

  42.     Riker turns in the chair toward Tamal.

  44.                     RIKER
  45.             Tamal, secure that conduit.
  46.  
  47.     Tamal works for a moment, and then the gas and smoke STOP.  
  48.     Riker begins to pull off the beard he's been wearing... 
  49.     revealing the face of Thomas Riker.

  53.             Course laid in.  We'll be in the 
  54.             Badlands in six hours.
