  15.     BASHIR is talking to Kira, who's just about at the end of 
  16.     her rope.

  18.                     BASHIR
  19.             Major, the scheduled transport's 
  20.             been delayed and I need those medical 
  21.             supplies by the end of the week at 
  22.             the latest.
  23.  
  24.                     KIRA
  25.             We can't spare a runabout to go all 
  26.             the way to Vulcan right now.
  27.  
  28.                     BASHIR
  29.             I'm supposed to set up a field 
  30.             hospital for the new colony on Campor 
  31.             Three next week.  If I don't have 
  32.             those supplies, it could set the 
  33.             entire colonization schedule back by 
  34.             at least --
  35.  
  36.     Kira finally boils over and cuts loose at Bashir.

  38.                     KIRA
  39.                 (explodes)
  40.             Listen to me.  You can't have a 
  41.             runabout, you can't get your medical 
  42.             supplies, and I don't give a damn 
  43.             about the colonization schedule.  
  44.             We've got problems of our own, so 
  45.             those colonists can make do with a 
  46.             box of bandages for all I care.

  48.     Kira turns and begins to storm out of the room, when Bashir 
  49.     stops her cold by the low and deadly serious tone in his 
  50.     voice.

  52.                     BASHIR
  53.             Stop right there, Major.

  55.     Kira turns and looks at him, just waiting for him to start 
  56.     another argument, but Bashir handles the situation with a 
  57.     Doctor's clinical and dispassionate authority.
