  10.     at her reflection, we get the feeling that, for the first 
  11.     time, she almost believes the Cardassians might be telling 
  12.     the truth.

  14.                     KIRA
  15.                 (a whisper)
  16.             No.
  17.  
  18.     Voicing the small denial seems to trigger something inside 
  19.     Kira.  Working herself into a rage, Kira lashes out...
  20.  
  21.                     KIRA
  22.                 (shouting)
  23.             No.
  24.  
  25.     And smashes the mirror with her bare hands.

  27. 72   INCLUDE GHEMOR

  29.     As he reacts to her outbursts.

  35. 73   CLOSE ON KIRA

  37.     As she shrugs off Ghemor, yanks the mirror off the wall, and 
  38.     throws it to the floor.

  40.     Then, her energy spent, she falls to her knees, and her anger 
  41.     dissolves into pain and despair.

  43.                     KIRA
  44.             No.
  45.  
  46.     Ghemor kneels down next to her and puts his hand on her 
  47.     shoulder.
  48.  
  49.                     GHEMOR
  50.                 (quietly)
  51.             It's all right... everything will be 
  52.             all right.

  54.     Kira does nothing to push him away.  Her need for comfort 
  55.     has overcome her distrust of the Cardassian.
