  9.             your grandchildren the glorious story 
  10.             of how you rose to power and took 
  11.             Grilka's house from her, I hope you 
  12.             remember to tell them how you 
  13.             heroically killed an unarmed Ferengi 
  14.             half your size.

  16.     Gowron and the Council members are shifting unhappily in 
  17.     their places... they're not too happy about the way this is 
  18.     happening.  But D'Ghor only gives Quark a small smile.
  19.  
  20.                     D'GHOR
  21.                 (softly)
  22.             Whatever you say, Ferengi...
  23.  
  24.     D'Ghor cocks back the blade for a killing stroke... and he 
  25.     is about to cut Quark in two, when Gowron swiftly moves in 
  26.     and grabs the sword, freezing D'Ghor in place.  Gowron's 
  27.     attitude is both shamed and disappointed.
  28.  
  29.                     GOWRON
  30.             What are you doing?
  31.  
  32.     D'Ghor is genuinely shocked... he loosens his grip on the 
  33.     sword and Gowron pulls it away from him in disgust.
  34.  
  35.                     GOWRON
  36.             I didn't want to believe the things 
  37.             he said about you yesterday... but 
  38.             if you can stand here and... murder 
  39.             this pathetic little man, then you 
  40.             have no honor.  And you have no place 
  41.             in this hall.

  43.     Gowron throws the bat'leth to the ground, and then turns his 
  44.     back on D'Ghor.  The other Council members all turn away 
  45.     from D'Ghor, who has now been shamed before everyone.  Gowron 
  46.     signals to one of the Guards in the room, who then moves to 
  47.     D'Ghor.  D'Ghor stares at them all in disbelief... then turns 
  48.     and lets the Guard escort him from the room.  Gowron glances 
  49.     at Quark in a mixture of disbelief and admiration.

  51.                     GOWRON
  52.                 (shaking his head)
  53.             A brave Ferengi... who would have 
  54.             thought it possible?
