  4. 62   CONTINUED:
  5.  
  6.     Since this planet has no sun it is ALWAYS NIGHT here.  
  7.     Kira and Odo EXIT the shuttle and step outside.  Kira looks 
  8.     around in curiosity.  Odo's gaze is fixed on something o.c.  
  9.     Odo walks toward what he's looking at and Kira follows him.
  10.  
  11. 63   EXT. LAKESHORE (OPTICAL) - NIGHT
  12.  
  13.     Odo is walking toward the edge of what appears to be a large 
  14.     GELATINOUS LAKE.  The lake appears to be made of something 
  15.     other than water.  The surface undulates and roils in an 
  16.     unnatural fashion.  Odo stops at the edge.  Kira stands next 
  17.     to him and there is a long moment as Odo looks down at the 
  18.     strange liquid.
  19.  
  20.     Suddenly a portion of the lake begins to MORPH.  As Odo and 
  21.     Kira watch in amazement, a group of FOUR SHAPE-SHIFTERS 
  22.     detach themselves from the lake and take on the form of FOUR 
  23.     HUMANOIDS.  Their faces have the same "unfinished" look that 
  24.     Odo's does and they appear to wear simple tunics.  One FEMALE 
  25.     shapeshifter smiles at Odo and steps towards him.
  26.  
  27.                     FEMALE
  28.             Welcome home.
  29.  
  30.     Off Odo's reaction...
  31.  
  32.                                     FADE OUT.
