  10.     As MORE JEM'HADAR SOLDIERS RUSH IN from the Corridor.  It's 
  11.     clear our people will be overwhelmed in the next minute or 
  12.     so.

  14.                                     CUT TO:

  16. 57   INT. DEFIANT CORRIDOR (OPTICAL)
  17.  
  18.     Kira FIRES her phaser at a Jem'Hadar soldier, then turns 
  19.     just in time to see Odo dispatch another soldier with a quick 
  20.     blow to the throat.  Kira starts to head out into the corridor 
  21.     when suddenly a burst of phaser fire GRAZES her HEAD, knocking 
  22.     her to the deck.
  23.  
  24. 58   ON KIRA'S FACE
  25.  
  26.     As she struggles against the pain and tries to get up.  But 
  27.     it's too much for her... the SOUNDS of battle around her 
  28.     FADE AWAY as her eyes flutter and she falls unconscious.  As 
  29.     Kira's eyes close we...

  31.                                     FADE OUT.

  33.     FADE IN:

  35. 59   MATCHING SHOT ON KIRA'S FACE
  36.  
  37.     She's sitting upright with her eyes closed and an ugly bruise 
  38.     on her temple from the phaser shot.  In contrast with the 
  39.     noise and the confusion of the battle everything is QUIET.  
  40.     After a beat, Kira starts to wake up.  She looks around in 
  41.     confusion.  MOVE TO REVEAL we're in:

  43. 60   INT. SHUTTLECRAFT
  44.  
  45.     Kira is sitting in the cockpit next to Odo, who is calmly 
  46.     piloting the ship.
  47.
