  11.             list about as long as this table, 
  12.             but he said it'll get us where we're 
  13.             going.

  16.             And back I hope.

  19.                 (joking)
  20.             He said that was up to you.

  22.     Sisko smiles and sits on the edge of the desk for a moment.  
  23.     But Dax has touched on an issue that is clearly on his mind.

  26.             I'd never have volunteered for this 
  27.             mission unless I thought we had a 
  28.             chance of coming back.

  30.                     DAX
  31.             You volunteered?  How many times did 
  32.             Curzon tell you -- never volunteer 
  33.             for anything!

  35.                     SISKO
  36.             As I recall, Curzon broke that rule 
  37.             a few times himself.

  39.                     DAX
  40.             And regretted it every time.

  43.             This is different.  I'd end up 
  44.             regretting it more if we just sat 
  45.             around here and waited for an 
  46.             invasion.

  48.     Dax considers this for a beat, she moves around the table.

  51.             If I know Starfleet, they must've 
  52.             run about two hundred probability 
  53.             studies on this mission of ours.  
  54.             What are the odds we succeed?
