  6.     As O'Brien makes his way, running late now, and hurrying.

  10.     We see a man come out of one of the shops.  A tall, rugged- 
  11.     looking fellow we will come to know as BOONE.  Boone turns 
  12.     and looks toward O'Brien, sees him, reacts slightly as if he 
  13.     recognizes O'Brien, but is not sure.  He makes sure O'Brien 
  14.     makes eye contact... and once he does, O'Brien reacts, 
  15.     recognizing the man...

  17. 5    WITH BOONE AND O'BRIEN

  19.     as O'Brien comes up to him.

  21.                     O'BRIEN
  22.             Boone... ?
  23.  
  24.     Boone continues his polite, if puzzled, smile.

  29.             on the Rutledge together.

  32.             O'Brien.  Of course.  It's been a 
  33.             long time.  How're you doin?

  36.             Fine... fine... I work on this station 
  37.             now.  Chief engineer.

  40.             You don't say...

  44.             How long you been out of Starfleet?

  47.             Almost eight years now.  I've settled 
  48.             on Volan Three.
