  1.
  2.             DEEP SPACE: "The Wire" - 03/01/94 - ACT FIVE            54.
  3.
  4. 70   CONTINUED:    (4)
  5.
  6.                     BASHIR
  7.             Information is your business.
  8.             Besides, you're the one who ordered
  9.             him to have that implant put in his
  10.             head, aren't you?
  11.
  12.                     TAIN
  13.             I never had to order Garak to do
  14.             anything.  That's what made him
  15.             special.
  16.                 (a beat)
  17.             So, you're saying if you don't get
  18.             this information... Garak dies?
  19.
  20.                     BASHIR
  21.             That's right.
  22.
  23.     Tain thinks the situation over for a long beat.
  24.
  25.                     TAIN
  26.             Well we can't allow that... can we?
  27.             I'll see to it that the necessary
  28.             data is transferred to your station's
  29.             computer.
  30.
  31.     Bashir allows himself to relax, just a bit.
  32.
  33.                     BASHIR
  34.             Thank you.
  35.
  36.                     TAIN
  37.             Don't thank me, Doctor.  I'm not
  38.             doing Garak any favors.  He doesn't
  39.             deserve a quick death.  On the
  40.             contrary, I want him to live a long,
  41.             miserable life.  I want him to grow
  42.             old on that station, surrounded by
  43.             people who hate him, knowing he can
  44.             never come home again.
  45.
  46.                     BASHIR
  47.                 (sarcastic)
  48.             What a lovely sentiment.
  49.
  50.                     TAIN
  51.                 (deadpan)
  52.             It's from the heart, I assure you.
  53.                 (smiles)
  54.             And now, Doctor, I really think you
  55.             should be going.
  56.
