  14.                 (dismissive)
  15.             Oh, that.  I'm helping Garak get a 
  16.             new sizing scanner for his shop.
  17.  
  18.                     BASHIR
  19.             A sizing scanner?

  21.                     QUARK
  22.             Not just any sizing scanner.  The 
  23.             best.  Straight from Merak Two.  
  24.             Calibrated to be accurate down to 
  25.             the micrometer.  And, I might add, 
  26.             at a very reasonable price.

  28.                     BASHIR
  29.             Really?  I thought Garak sounded a 
  30.             bit... upset.

  32.                     QUARK
  33.             Upset?  Garak?  I hadn't noticed.
  34.                 (predatory)
  35.             Now, is there anything I can do for 
  36.             you?  A little Saurian brandy to go?  
  37.             Or maybe a late night session in a 
  38.             holosuite?

  40.     Bashir studies Quark, not at all satisfied with his answers, 
  41.     but not sure it's worth the trouble to continue the 
  42.     conversation.  After a beat, he decides to give up... for 
  43.     now.

  46.             No.  Thank you.  I think I'll call 
  47.             it a night.

  53.     Bashir EXITS and Quark breathes a quiet sigh of relief.
