  12. 1    EXT. JUNGLE - DAY

  14.     HUDSON has brought SISKO to a secluded area where the Maquis 
  15.     have made a temporary camp.  In the background, we see KIRA 
  16.     and BASHIR, surrounded by a handful of armed Maquis.
  17.  
  18.     Though Hudson continues to keep his phaser trained on Sisko, 
  19.     both men, at least initially, try their best to keep the 
  20.     mood light and unthreatening.  After all, they've been close 
  21.     for a long time and neither is anxious to see their friendship 
  22.     end.  Still, the tension between them is never far from the 
  23.     surface.
  24.  
  25.     Hudson is especially uncomfortable.  He knows that he's 
  26.     betrayed Sisko, and he also has mixed feelings about turning 
  27.     his back on Starfleet.  This is not a man who has an easy 
  28.     time justifying the use of violence.

  30.                     HUDSON
  31.                 (amused)
  32.             Ben, you should've seen the look on 
  33.             your face when you saw me standing 
  34.             there.

  36.                     SISKO
  37.             I hardly recognized you without your 
  38.             uniform.
  39.  
  40.     Hudson reaches down into a satchel and takes out his folded 
  41.     Starfleet uniform, which he offers to Sisko.

  43.                     HUDSON
  44.                 (re: the uniform)
  45.             Lately, it's been feeling a little 
  46.             tight on me.

  48.     Sisko looks at the uniform and then reluctantly accepts it.
