DEEP SPACE: "Profit and Loss" - 01/13/94 - ACT THREE 31.
24 CONTINUED: (2)
GARAK
(an afterthought)
If you'd like, come by the shop some
day. I'm sure I have a number of
suits that would look quite flattering
on you.
And with that, Garak strolls out.
25 INT. QUARK'S
The bar is busy. Hogue and Rekelen are sitting at one of
the side tables, looking grim. Quark walks up to them,
carrying a tray with two drinks.
QUARK
Here, you go. Two mugs of Kanar...
on the house.
He sets down the drinks.
HOGUE
(re: the drinks)
We didn't order these.
QUARK
(explaining himself)
They're the drinks I promised you
the first time you were in here.
Sorry they took so long but things
have been a little hectic.
(gestures to a seat)
Do you mind?
Quark starts to sit down, but is interrupted by Rekelen.
REKELEN
I'm afraid we do.
HOGUE
Professor Lang told us you couldn't
be trusted.
QUARK
(dismissive)
You Cardassians do hold grudges.
Seven years ago Natima and I had
some silly lovers' quarrel and...
Well, all I can say is... I'm willing
to let bygones be bygones.
