  18.     O'Brien holds up the ship's navigation cell -- a blackened, 
  19.     partially melted cube.

  22.             They weren't in any meteor swarm.  
  23.             Their ship was hit by Cardassian 
  24.             disrupters.

  26.                     KIRA
  27.             That doesn't make sense.  Why would 
  28.             Cardassians fire on other Cardassians?

  31.                 (looking beyond Kira)
  32.             Maybe you should ask her.

  34.     Kira and Sisko turn to see Natima, Hogue and Rekelen step 
  35.     out of the Turbolift.  The crewmembers react to the 
  36.     Cardassians in Ops.  As Natima and her students come up:

  39.             I hate to be an imposition, Commander, 
  40.             but I need my ship.

  42.                     SISKO
  43.             That's not possible.  Mister O'Brien 
  44.             is still working on it.
  45.                 (pointedly)
  46.             Your ship sustained more damage than 
  47.             we originally thought, in fact...

  49.     Natima sees what's coming.

  52.                 (interrupting)
  53.             You suspect our ship was damaged by 
  54.             Cardassian weapons.  You're right, of
