  6.     A bleep tell us the transmission is cut off.  O'Brien is 
  7.     really angry and he storms out of the corridor... DeCurtis 
  8.     takes a long beat, waits to be sure O'Brien's gone, then 
  9.     presses a combination in the manual panel and the door slides 
  10.     open and he walks in...
  11.  
  12. 16   ANGLE

  14.     at the end of the corridor to see that O'Brien never went 
  15.     beyond the corner, and has seen DeCurtis enter the door that 
  16.     "couldn't be opened"... now he's really suspicious that 
  17.     something isn't normal.

  19. 17   INT. PROMENADE

  21.     O'Brien walks with his mind working, trying to figure out 
  22.     what he's going to do, whom to trust, what it all means...

  24.                     JAKE
  25.             Chief!

  27.     Jake moves to him, carrying an inverter component of a model 
  28.     for his science project...

  30.                     JAKE
  31.             Is this the right inverter for a 
  32.             subspace transceiver?

  34.     O'Brien refocuses... takes the module, almost smiles...

  36.                     O'BRIEN
  37.             Where'd you get this?  I haven't 
  38.             seen one of these since I was a kid.

  41.             I replicated it... I found a design 
  42.             in a really really old data file in 
  43.             the library program...

  46.             Really, really old, huh...
