  8.             chance to survive this thing... that's 
  9.             to stay alive long enough for 
  10.             Commander Sisko to find us.

  13.             But that won't be for at least another 
  14.             day... he thinks we're celebrating 
  15.             on T'Lani Prime...

  17.     O'Brien shoots him a "That's your fault, pal... " look.

  19.                     O'BRIEN
  20.             I said it was our only chance, I 
  21.             didn't say it was a good one.

  23.     O'Brien comes to a small console next to which, built into 
  24.     the wall, is a companel.  The monitor facing has a crack in 
  25.     it, the panel's smudged, the readouts are unlit... all in 
  26.     all, it looks like it's been through a war.

  28.                     O'BRIEN
  29.             What do we have here?
  30.                 (wipes grime off panel)
  31.             Some kind of com system... maybe we 
  32.             can contact the T'Lani from here...

  34.                     BASHIR
  35.                 (joining him)
  36.             You think you can get it working?

  39.             I'll have to open it up... see if 
  40.             there's a backup power supply...

  42.     O'Brien finds Bashir almost breathing down his neck, curious 
  43.     about the communications system...
