DEEP SPACE: "The Alternate" - REV. 10/28/93 - ACT FOUR 39.
53 CONTINUED: (2)
MORA
It's the expression of affection
that you find uncomfortable.
Odo bristles at being analyzed even if it is accurate...
EXITS... Mora notices his reaction, didn't mean to hurt him,
follows with the intention of "making up"...
54 INT. PROMENADE
As they come out of the Infirmary...
MORA
You know, that was really a remarkable
display back there...
ODO
Display?
MORA
You were careful, attentive...
ODO
I was just doing my job.
MORA
Yes, well, I'm beginning to think
that the scientific method and the
police method have a lot in common.
ODO
I never thought of it that way.
Perhaps they do.
MORA
In science we look for the obvious.
We track in straight lines. If
something looks too good to be true,
it probably isn't true. If there
seems to be more to something than
meets the eye, there usually is
more. We take it step by step.
ODO
That would apply to criminal
investigation also.
