  6.     BASHIR is hard at work stabilizing and checking out his 
  7.     patients, Dax, Doctor Mora, and Doctor Weld, who are all in 
  8.     bunks.  Mora and Weld are unconscious, using respirator masks.  
  9.     Dax is resting, but breathing normally.  Odo is sitting, 
  10.     fully dressed on a bed.  Bashir talks to Sisko as he works...
  11.  
  12.                     BASHIR
  13.             They're stable for now.  Dax is in 
  14.             fair condition, the Bajorans seem to 
  15.             be more seriously affected.  Perhaps 
  16.             they were exposed to more of the 
  17.             gas, or there may be something about 
  18.             Trill physiology... I'm not sure 
  19.             yet...

  21.                     SISKO
  22.             And Odo?

  25.             I'm fine.

  28.             The paralyzing action occurred when 
  29.             the gas was taken into the respiratory 
  30.             system.  Since Odo doesn't have a 
  31.             respiratory system as we know it, he 
  32.             apparently wasn't affected at all.

  34.                     SISKO
  35.             O'Brien's off-loaded the cargo they 
  36.             brought back.  He's set up everything 
  37.             in the Science Lab.  I understand 
  38.             there are some organic specimens 
  39.             from that planet.  Maybe there's 
  40.             something that can help you figure 
  41.             this out.

  46.     During the above, Odo has crossed slowly to Mora's bed...

  50.     Mora is breathing irregularly, and with some difficulty.  
  51.     Odo looks at him a long moment.  His mentor seems very weak 
  52.     and small.
