  4. 14   WITH DAX (OPTICAL)

  6.                     DAX
  7.             Computer, begin transport.
  8.  
  9.     The pillar DEMATERIALIZES... and as Dax begins to gather the 
  10.     rods... the others return and there is a low rumbling, then 
  11.     a tremor, small at first, but gathering intensity.  Dax 
  12.     reacts, and this all happens very fast --
  13.  
  14.                     DAX
  15.                 (urgent)
  16.             Computer, realign transporter... 
  17.             lock on to our combadges...
  18.  
  19.                     COMPUTER VOICE
  20.             Stand by...
  21.  
  22. 15   AT THE BLUFF
  23.  
  24.     The ground is shaking more intensely... Mora, Odo and Weld 
  25.     move for shelter... there is a deafening roar.  A sudden 
  26.     jolt and loud cracking noise.  The air is suddenly filled 
  27.     with gas escaping from unseen fissures.

  31. 17   DAX, MORA, AND WELD (OPTICAL)

  33.     Covered by the dust and gas reel back from it toward the 
  34.     bluff.
  35.  
  36.                     COMPUTER VOICE
  37.             Ready for transport...
  38.  
  39.     But by now, the three humanoids are severely affected and 
  40.     fall to the ground, coughing and trembling.  The shaking 
  41.     continues.  Mora seems almost paralyzed by the effects of 
  42.     the gas.  Dax is choking as Odo kneels to help her.  Weld is 
  43.     doubled over in a fetal position.  Mora is unconscious and 
  44.     not moving.  Odo hits his combadge...
