  10.             The monks tell me it's a medicinal 
  11.             brew... an ancient secret of their 
  12.             order.  It's supposed to impart great 
  13.             energy and vigor... Just the kind of 
  14.             thing to have before an athletic 
  15.             competition.

  17.     Quark sees Bashir's hesitancy and seems to have a change of 
  18.     heart.
  19.  
  20.                     QUARK
  21.                 (dismissive)
  22.             But you're a man of science.  You 
  23.             probably don't believe in folk 
  24.             medicine.
  25.  
  26.     This gets Bashir's attention.  He stops stretching.
  27.  
  28.                     BASHIR
  29.             Actually, you'd be surprised how 
  30.             often traditional medicine turns out 
  31.             to have genuine value.
  32.  
  33.     He goes and examines the bottle.
  34.  
  35.                     BASHIR
  36.                 (curious)
  37.             What did they say was in this stuff?

  39.                     QUARK
  40.             They didn't, exactly.  But I'm sure 
  41.             it's all completely natural.

  43.     Bashir considers it.  He opens the bottle and sniffs the 
  44.     contents.

  46.                     QUARK
  47.                 (helpful)
  48.             The monks said you should drink the 
  49.             whole thing in one gulp in order to 
  50.             get the proper effect.

  52.                     BASHIR
  53.             Did they?
  54.  
  55.     Bashir places a small drop of the liquid into a vial.  He 
  56.     goes to place the vial into a slot on his desk top, but Quark 
  57.     blocks the way.
  58.
