  343.     B.  Door Hinges:  1/8 inch (3 mm) thick heavy extruded brite
  344.         anodized type 6463T5 aluminum hinges that wrap around
  345.         both the door and pilaster.
  346.         1.  Solid Polymer:  Fasten hinges to door and pilaster
  347.             faces with 5/8 inch (16 mm) stainless steel tamper-
  348.             proof screws and to edge of door and pilaster with a
  349.             No.10 by 1 inch (25 mm) stainless steel screw.
  350.         2.  Solid Phenolic:  Fasten hinges to door and pilaster
  351.             with one-way head thru-bolts.
  352.         3.  Top Hinges:  Opposing nylon cams factory set at 30

  357.     C.  Door Hinges:  Continuous contact piano hinge, made of
  358.         extruded aluminum, not less than 1.5 lbs per linear ft

  374.         2.  Fasteners:  Six one-way head stainless steel machine
  375.             screws per leaf on both door and pilaster, into
  376.             threaded brass inserts or thru-bolted; inserts
  377.             independent laboratory-tested to pull-out of 5,000 lb
  378.             (2265 kg).

  408. PART 3  EXECUTION

  410. 3.1 INSTALLATION
  411.  
  412.     A.  Install partitions rigid, straight, plumb and level in
  413.         accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
  414.  
  415.     B.  Set units with not more than 1/2 inch (12 mm) between
  416.         pilasters and panels and not more than 3/4 inch (19 mm)
  417.         between panels and walls.
  418.  
  419.     C.  Overhead-Braced and Floor-Mounted:  Secure to structural
  420.         concrete floor.
  421.  
  422.     D.  Ceiling Hung:  Secure to structural members above
  423.         ceiling.
  424. NOTE ** 2 x 6 inch wood blocking is recommended for
  425.         fastening partitions to drywall construction.
  426.  
  427.     E.  Hollow Stud Partitions: Secure panels to wood blocking
  428.         inside partitions.
  429.  
  430.     F.  Adjust and lubricate hardware for proper operation after
  431.         installation.
  432.         1.  Set hinges on in-swing doors to hold doors in the
  433.             open or closed position when unlatched as shown on
  434.             drawings.
  435.         2.  Set hinges on out-swing doors to return to the fully
