- SECTION 09800
-
- ACOUSTICAL TREATMENT
-
- NOTE ** This section is based on Eckoustic(R) Functional
- Panels (EFPs) as manufactured by:
- NOTE ** Eckel Industries, Inc.
- NOTE ** Acoustic Division
- NOTE ** 155 Fawcett Street
- NOTE ** Cambridge, MA 02138-1111
- NOTE ** Tel: (617) 491-3221
- NOTE ** Fax: (617) 547-2171
- NOTE **
- NOTE ** Eckoustic Functional Panels are high performance
- sound-absorbing panels that can be spot located on
- walls or ceilings to achieve effective noise
- control. Because they are independent panels, EFPs
- can be put into place without disturbing existing
- lighting or HVAC diffusers. Attractive, fire
- resistant, durable, and easily cleaned, they are
- ideal for correcting noise problems in gymnasiums,
- swimming pools, auditoriums and theaters, and
- similar facilities. They also are appropriate for
- industrial noise control use in water and waste
- water treatment facilities and power plants as well
- as manufacturing facilities.
