  226. 2.3 FINISHES

  228.     A.  Sand sight-exposed wood surfaces to smooth finish.

  233.         components, using only environmentally safe
  234.         finishing materials; factory finishing eliminates
  235.         problems associated with handling of unfinished

  239. NOTE ** If specifying custom finish in third paragraph,
  240.         consult with manufacturer of counter door and

  255. 3.1 EXAMINATION
  256.  
  257.     A.  Verification of Conditions:  Verify openings are in
  258.         accordance with approved shop drawings.

  260.     B.  Installer's Examination:
  261.         1.  Have installer of this section examine conditions
  262.             under which construction activities of this section
  263.             are to be performed, then submit written notification
  264.             if such conditions are unacceptable.
  265.         2.  Transmit two copies of installer's report to
  266.             Architect within 24 hours of receipt.
  267.         3.  Beginning construction activities of this section
  268.             before unacceptable conditions have been corrected is
  269.             prohibited.
  270.         4.  Beginning construction activities of this section
  271.             indicates installer's acceptance of conditions.

  273. 3.2 INSTALLATION

  275.     A.  Install counter doors plumb and level in accordance with
  276.         approved shop drawings and manufacturer's printed
  277.         installation instructions.
