  1. Installation
  2. ============

  4. In order to play Scramblet, you must install *at least* the following:
  5.  
  6.   scramblet.prc    -    scramblet application  
  7.   wordlist.pdb    -    word list database
  8.  
  9. If you already have wordlist.pdb installed, you need not install it
  10. again.
  11.  
  12. Word lists with more (or fewer) than the standard 12500 words can
  13. be found at the Scramblet home page at:

  17. If you wish to play with custom-built word lists, you can substitute
  18. wordlist.pdb with that custom database.  For more information on
  19. building custom Scramblet word lists, download the file:

  23. NOTE:  Prior to installing Scramblet, you SHOULD remove your DictDB
  24.        database.  Neither Scramblet nor Wordlet use it any more and
  25.        both now will be using wordlist.pdb for their word lookups.
  26.        Leaving it out there will not hurt...but it *will* be wasting
  27.        some space.

  29. NOTE:  As a general note to Macintosh users, I have been informed that
  30.        all pdb files (dictdb.pdb included) must be extracted with a
  31.        valid zip extraction program before they can be synced with the
  32.        Palm.  I am told that Aladdin's Stuffit Expander *will* properly
  33.        extract pdb databases.
