  1. PAGEMASTER - THE COMPLETE PAGING SOLUTION

  5. INSTALLATION OVERVIEW
  6.  
  7. The setup program provided by PageMaster installs all the 
  8. necessary components.  A program group will also be created from 
  9. which you can launch the application.
  10.  
  11. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
  12.  
  13. For extensive help on any of the dialog boxes presented by the 
  14. Setup program during installation, press the F1 key or choose the 
  15. Help button in the dialog box.
  16.  
  17. To run Setup for installation of PageMaster:
  18.  
  19. 1.  If Windows NT or Windows 95 is not already running, follow the 
  20.     procedure for starting Windows NT or Windows 95.  
  21. 2.  Windows NT users should choose Run from the File Menu in the Program 
  22.     Manager window.  Windows 95 users should choose Run from the Start 
  23.     button.  In the Command Line box, type the drive letter and path to the 
  24.     location of the PageMaster files, followed by \SETUP.  For 
  25.     example, "G:\DOWNLOADS\SETUP".
  26. 3.  Choose the OK button or press ENTER.
  27.  
  28. THE INSTALLATION PROCESS
  29.  
  30. There are four steps to the installation process.  The Setup 
  31. program does the following:
  32.  
  33. 1. Asks you where to install PageMaster.  Its default location is
  34.    the C:\PageMaster directory.  If this directory doesn't exist, 
  35.    Setup will create it for you.
  36. 2. Installs the PageMaster program files.
  37. 3. Creates a Program Group entitled "PageMaster".
  38. 4. Notifies you that setup is complete.
  39.  
  40. DOWNLOADING NEW VERSIONS
  41.  
  42. New versions of PageMaster are made available on CompuServe, America Online,
  43. and Internet on a regular basis.
  44.  
  45. If you do not subscribe to any of these services, you can download the
  46. latest version from the Omnitrend BBS at (860) 676-1713.

  48. VERSION CHANGES

  50. The following changes were made from previous versions of the
  51. software:
