The default Netscape installation directory is the following:
Program Files\Netscape\Navigator\Program
Custom Shockwave Installations should point to the directory
which contains the file "Netscape.exe".

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
Hardware: IBM compatible PC:
- Intel 80486-25 Mhz or greater
- VGA with 8-bit or 256 colors
- 6 MB free disk space
- 8 MB RAM
Software: Microsoft Windows 95
Netscape: 2.0 32-Bit
KNOWN PROBLEMS WITH WORKAROUNDS:
- Function varies when running in anything other than
256 colors.
Workaround: Run in 256 color mode or 8 bit screen depth.
- General redraw/refresh problems.
Workaround: Select Reload from the buttonbar or View menu.
- A broken icon appears and the movie is not loaded.
Workaround: Select Reload from the buttonbar or View menu
and ensure the web server MIME-type is set to
"application/x-director". For further information, see:
http://www.macromedia.com/Tools/Shockwave/sdc/Dev/getstart.html#server
- If the Disk Cache is set to 0 Kb, movies will not play.
Workaround: Increase Netscape's Disk Cache to 5000 Kb.
KNOWN PROBLEMS WITHOUT WORKAROUNDS:
- NetLingo commands. PreloadNetThing may not work in
conjunction with gotoNetMovie and gotoNetPage. For best
results, set the Cache Preference to "Verify Documents
Once Per Session". To set the Cache Preference, select
Network Preferences from the Options menu.
- Tables. Movies embedded in tables may crash.
- Windows NT. The 16-bit Plug-In may work with 16-bit
Netscape under Windows NT, however, it has not
been certified nor will it be supported at this time.
The 32-bit Plug-In will not work with Windows NT.
