FLOW CHARTING v1.10 - DEMO
PATTON & PATTON SOFTWARE CORPORATION
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for requesting Flow Charting 3. We think you will be
pleased with the speed and flexibility of our newest release.
This file contains information that may not be included in the
demo manual. Please read this file to learn about any changes
to the program, or corrections to the manual.
------------------------ General Information ------------------------
Printers:
Flow Charting 3 supports over 200 printers. Due to limited disk
space for this demo program, some printer drivers have been
omitted. Please feel free to call us if your printer is not
shown.
LAN users:
For those of you that are sharing a printer via a network, it is
recommended that you configure Flow Charting 3 to output to a
DISKFILE. Everytime you go to print a chart, you will be asked
to supply a file name. You should specify the port that the
network has control of. For example, if you are on a Novell
network and your LPT2 port is 'captured', then you would specify
LPT2 as the diskfile name.
Print Multiple Charts:
Print Multiple Charts will print chart files directly from disk.
Since this feature prints from the disk file, rather than from
memory, you must save any edits to disk before you begin. Upon
returning from 'Print Multiple', no chart will be loaded into
memory. You must either start a 'New Chart', or 'Load' an
existing one.
Old Flow Charting files:
If you have an older version of Flow Charting (Flow Charting II,
II+, etc), you probably have many old charts with the extension
".cht". You can use these old charts with Flow Charting 3 by
reading them into newly created charts as images.
HP Portable Plus:
Flow Charting 3 does NOT support the Hewlett-Packard Portable
Plus computer.
