  6. Thank you for requesting Flow Charting 3.  We think you will be
  7. pleased with the speed and flexibility of our newest release.

  9. This file contains information that may not be included in the
  10. demo manual.  Please read this file to learn about any changes
  11. to the program, or corrections to the manual.

  13. ------------------------ General Information ------------------------

  15. Printers:
  16.  
  17.    Flow Charting 3 supports over 200 printers.  Due to limited disk
  18.    space for this demo program, some printer drivers have been 
  19.    omitted.  Please feel free to call us if your printer is not
  20.    shown.

  22. LAN users:
  23.  
  24.    For those of you that are sharing a printer via a network, it is
  25.    recommended that you configure Flow Charting 3 to output to a
  26.    DISKFILE.  Everytime you go to print a chart, you will be asked
  27.    to supply a file name.  You should specify the port that the
  28.    network has control of.  For example, if you are on a Novell 
  29.    network and your LPT2 port is 'captured', then you would specify
  30.    LPT2 as the diskfile name.

  33. Print Multiple Charts:
  34.  
  35.    Print Multiple Charts will print chart files directly from disk.
  36.    Since this feature prints from the disk file, rather than from
  37.    memory, you must save any edits to disk before you begin.  Upon
  38.    returning from 'Print Multiple', no chart will be loaded into
  39.    memory.  You must either start a 'New Chart', or 'Load' an
  40.    existing one.

  43. Old Flow Charting files:

  45.    If you have an older version of Flow Charting (Flow Charting II,
  46.    II+, etc), you probably have many old charts with the extension
  47.    ".cht".  You can use these old charts with Flow Charting 3 by
  48.    reading them into newly created charts as images.

  51. HP Portable Plus:
  52.  
  53.    Flow Charting 3 does NOT support the Hewlett-Packard Portable
  54.    Plus computer.
