  5. The Hack Report for May 1, 1992

  7. The Hack Report is a weekly list of hacked programs, hoaxes,
  8. Trojan Horses,  and pirated commercial software  seen posted
  9. for download  on BBS systems  across the country  and around
  10. the world.   The report is intended  to help BBS  SysOps and
  11. Users avoid fraudulent files.
  12.  
  13. The information  in the report  is compiled from  reports in
  14. the FidoNet  International Shareware Echo (where  the report
  15. is posted as a message every Friday), reports in other echos
  16. and networks,  reports from individuals  to the  author, and
  17. from research done by the author.

  19. This  week, most  of the  action is  in the  ???Questionable
  20. Files??? section: your Hack Squad  really needs your help to
  21. confirm  these files.   Also, the  archive  version of  this
  22. report contains important information  concerning the way it
  23. will be  produced in  the future.   The changes  are due  to
  24. input from  you, the  readers.  Thanks  to everyone  who has
  25. helped put this report together.
