  7. Volume 1, Number 17 - report date: May 8, 1992

  9. The Hack Report is a monthly list of hacked programs,
  10. hoaxes, Trojan Horses, and pirated commercial software seen
  11. posted for download on BBS systems across the country and
  12. around the world.  The report is intended to help BBS SysOps
  13. and Users avoid fraudulent files.
  14.  
  15. The information in the report is compiled from reports in
  16. the FidoNet International Shareware Echo (where the report
  17. is posted as a message every Friday), reports in other echos
  18. and networks, reports from individuals to the author, and
  19. from research done by the author.
  20.  
  21. There are more confirmations this week, both of legitimate
  22. files and frauds, and a possible dropper rears its head.
  23. Thanks to everyone who has helped put this report together.

  25. This report is published as a public service of the FidoNet
  26. International Shareware Echo and the author, which means it
  27. is free to all readers.  Distribution of the file to other
  28. BBS systems is encouraged, subject to these conditions:
