-
- Solar is a fun and informative solar eclipse prediction
- program. Displays all solar eclipse tabular data: Local
- Circumstances, central line limits, partial phase limits,
- etc. View/print the eclipse path on a rectangular map
- projection of the world. You can select from 180 eclipses
- from March 7, 1951 to May 9, 2032.
-
- New features:
-
- Graphic Simulation Mode:
-
- This option allows you to view how the
- eclipse will look at a selected location.
-
- QuickMap Graphic Mode:
-
- This option will immediately display a
- rectangular map projection of the world and
- begin plotting the eclipse path. You no
- longer have to wait until the world map
- drawing is completed.
-
-
- One of SOLAR's unique capabilities is for planning purposes.
- You can check at a glance whether or not an eclipse will be
- visible at a selected site. If it is, will it be a total
- eclipse? How long? SOLAR can easily give you these answers
- and more.
