  5.         The  HOME-PHONE-BOOK  (HPB)   program  was  developed
  6. specifically  for the  home computer  market. It incorporates
  7. many  features  found  in  the  more sophisticated commercial
  8. products  while maintaining  an ease  of use  for the  casual
  9. user. The HPB's unique combining  of names makes it the right
  10. choice  for the  home user.  It combines  the first names, if
  11. provided, of both heads of the house. This combine feature is
  12. useful for  making Christmas labels  or other documents  that
  13. require   both  names.   Because  of   the  combine  feature,
  14. information such  as birthdays and work  phone numbers can be
  15. separately stored with each head of the house.

  17.         The  HPB is  distributed under  the shareware concept
  18. which  allows  the  user  to  review  a  program prior to its
  19. purchase. A registration form can  be printed by pressing the
  20. F1 key on the initial  screen. Your registration fee entitles
  21. you  to  1)  the  latest  version  of  the program, 2) future
  22. updates  at reduced  prices, 3)  bonus software,  and 4)  the
  23. opportunity  to   offer  your  suggestions   to  the  program
  24. developers.

  26.         The HPB program requires DOS  2.0 or later, 512K RAM,
  27. and  a hard  disk to  really be  effective. Depending  on the
  28. number of  records being stored,  the program will  use up to
  29. 500KB  of  disk  storage  capacity.  Black  & White and Color
  30. monitors are  supported in text  mode - no  graphic cards are
  31. required.
