  5. The Hack Report for April 10, 1992

  7. The Hack Report is a  weekly list of hacked programs, hoaxes,
  8. Trojan  Horses, and  pirated commercial  software seen posted
  9. for download on BBS systems across the country and around the
  10. world. The  report is intended  to help BBS  SysOps and Users
  11. avoid fraudulent files.
  12.  
  13. The information in the report is compiled from reports in the
  14. FidoNet  International Shareware  Echo (where  the report  is
  15. posted as  a message every  Friday), reports in  other echos,
  16. reports  from individuals  to the  author, and  from research
  17. done by the author.
  18.  
  19. This week has been a  week of confirmations and explanations.
  20. A file reported as a Trojan last week undergoes scrutiny, and
  21. the Hack Squad  gets it "from the horse's  mouth" on a couple
  22. of other files.

  24. This report is  published as a public service  of the FidoNet
  25. International Shareware  Echo and the author,  which means it
  26. is free to all readers. Distribution of the file to other BBS
  27. systems is encouraged, subject to these conditions:

  29.              1) the  latest version is used,  2) it is posted
  30. in its entirety, and 3) it is not altered in any way.
