The purpose of ANSIPAINT is to provide many functions that are useful for creating and editing title screen files of many types. These include ANSI files, which are useful for bulletin board systems, and standard text files, with no color. For programmers, screens may be saved as straight binary dumps or as BSAVE files which may be loaded from BASIC. SYSTEM CONFIGURATION : For ANSIPAINT to work properly, the ANSI.SYS device driver must be installed. To Install ANSI.SYS, you must add the line "DEVICE = ANSI.SYS" to your CONFIG.SYS file.
