  5. These aliases are free to distribute and steal ideas from.  It would be cool if you gave me credit
  6. for some of these ideas, but not necessary.  Send e-mail to rmartel@mci2000.com for any comments.

  8. The only keys that I changed from the DEFAULT.CFG file are:
  9.     SHIFT, INS, HOME, PGUP, DEL, END, PGDN
  10. All other keys have been bound to the keypad that id Software has just made available to make use out of
  11.  
  12. SHIFT        = When pressed, switches binding for the INS, HOME...PGDN keys to allow you to select your QuickWeapon
  13.           When let go, switches binding back to SelectWeapon
  14. INS        = Selects the Best Single-fire Weapon available
  15.           When SHIFT is pressed, this will bind the KP_INS to a Best Single-fire Weapon attack
  16. HOME        = Selects the Best Rapid-fire Weapon available
  17.           When SHIFT is pressed, this will bind the KP_INS to a Best Rapid-fire Weapon attack
  18. PGUP        = Selects the Best Grenade Weapon available
  19.           When SHIFT is pressed, this will bind the KP_INS to a Best Grenade Weapon attack
  20. DEL        = Selects the Rocket Launcher
  21.           When SHIFT is pressed, this will bind the KP_INS to a Rocket Launcher attack
  22. END        = Selects the Railgun
  23.           When SHIFT is pressed, this will bind the KP_INS to a Railgun attack
  24. PGDN        = Selects the BFG 10000
  25.           When SHIFT is pressed, this will bind the KP_INS to a BFG 10000 attack
  26. KP_UPARROW    = Move Forward
  27. KP_DOWNARROW    = Move BackWard
  28. KP_LEFTARROW    = Move Left (Strafe)
  29. KP_RIGHTARROW    = Move Right (Strafe)
  30. KP_5        = Will switch to the last SelectWeapon
  31. KP_INS        = QuickWeapon attack
  32. KP_ENTER    = Momentary Zoom
  33. KP_DEL        = Momentary Wide
  34. KP_PLUS        = Zooms in from current FOV to next FOV setting
  35. KP_MINUS    = Zooms out from current FOV to prev FOV setting

  37. SelectWeapon    = Weapon that you have last selected from the keys (INS, HOME...PGDN)
  38. QuickWeapon    = Weapon you want available to quickly switch to and fire (KP_INS)

  43. mg        = Machinegun
