  1. Commander 1.3 for the Psion Series 5

  4. Released as FreeWare in September of 2000

  6. To install Commander:
  7.  
  8. - On the PC:
  9.    Double click on the file Commander.SIS. This will start the
  10.    automatic installation of Commander from the PC.
  11. - On the Psion:
  12.    Double tap on the file Commander.SIS. This will start the
  13.    automatic installation of Commander from the Psion if the Add/Remove
  14.    Control Panel is installed.

  18. Keys:

  20. - Cursor Up, Down, PgUp, PgDn, Home, End
  21. - Switch between the two windows: TAB
  22. - Selection: space,+, -, * keys
  23. - Changing current drive: left window: Ctrl+1 (Ctrl+X),  right window: Ctrl+2 (Ctrl+Y)

  27. - Copy: Ctrl+C
  28. - Move: Ctrl+M
  29. - Delete: Ctrl+D
  30. - Rename: Ctrl+Z
  31. - New folder: Ctrl+N
  32. - Change file/folder attributes: Ctrl+A
  33. - Info about current drive, folder: Ctrl+I
  34. - Info about (sub)tree: Ctrl+T
  35. - View file: Ctrl+V
  36. - Edit file: Ctrl+O
  37. - Find file/folder: Ctrl+F
  38. - Sort on screen: Ctrl+S (unsorted, by name, by size)
  39. - Refresh screen: Ctrl+R
  40. - Tree-view: Ctrl+W (cursor up, down, Home, End, Enter)
  41. - Task list: Ctrl+L
  42. - Start application by .app file, or it's data file (This version works only on ROM-based application.) : Enter 
  43. - Help: Ctrl + H

  45. Pen:

  47. - First click on a file or folder: make actual line (inverse line)
  48. - Double-click on a folder: to enter into that folder
  49. - Double-click on a file: to start a ROM-based application with that file)
  50. - Click on a file/folder with pressed Ctrl key: to select/unselect (same as "scissors" icon)

  52. - Changing current drive: click on the drive letter in the first line of the current window
  53. - Select/unselect by mask: click on window's last line "xx directories, yy folders" title
  54. - PgUp / PgDn : click on the arrows in the upper/lower right corners of the current window
  55.  
  56. IMPORTANT!    If the program hangs up (not too frequent), 
  57.             try first the CTRL+Esc keys, before the reset.

  60. Note:    You can delete the Commander.mbm file if you don't need the pics, or you have a Revo.
