BThis screen allows you to calculate your calorie intake after a meal, or at the end of the day. You can add a particular food item for a particular food group, its unit, calorie value for that particular item etc.. Click on any of the food groups displayed in the FOOD PYRAMID and you will get all the items that are in that particular food group in a listBox. Now select the desired item from the listBox & servings of that particular food item from that group, you will get the calorie consumed from that serving. Repeat this procedure for all the food items in any of the food group, your calorie intake will get added as you proceed. You may delete a particular food item by selecting it from listBox.
uCThe Appointments screen allows you to schedule reminders for appointments with your doctor (or anybody else, for that matter!). To schedule an appointment, you must fill in the following data.
1. Doctor's Name: You must fill the name of the doctor in this field. There is no need to prefix the name with 'Dr.'; Insulin+ automatically does that for you.
2. Purpose of Visit: Enter the reason for your visit in this field. When you set the appointment, this data will be saved so you can view it later in the Notes section.
3. Date and Time of Visit: Enter the planned date and time of your visit to the doctor in these fields.
4. Do not forget to press the 'Set' button to schedule Appointment. The 'Appointment List' displays a list of appointments that you have already set. If you want to delete a appointment simply click
Delete
after selecting the appointment from the listBox.
4BThe notes screen functions like a diary: it allows you to record your thoughts and feelings .
1. Adding a new note: Type the title of the note in the 'Label' edit box, and the body of the note in the large edit box. Press the 'Save' button to save the note.
2. Removing a note: Select the note using the dropdown list box, and then click on the 'Delete' button to delete the note.
3. Searching for a note: Look at the titles displayed in the dropdown list box and select the one you want to see. On Clicking upon that entry, you can see the note for that entry.
eAThrough this screen a user may plan that when he/she have to take it
s BG samples, insulin, food etc. & when he/she will do the exercise for a specified period. He may edit the plan for a particular day. He/she may enter the corresponding values for particular scheduled item by clicking on the bitmap & entering the values for that particular item.
DAThrough view a user may have a report of BG values, IR, IL, exercise & average BG value on daily basis. By selecting a particular date the user may see the report on weekly & monthly basis also with the average for a particular day also. It also gives user the facility to print the report by clicking on the print button.
