AIn order to run QuoteOn you must provide it with a data file containing the quotes to use. This should have been provided with the QuoteOn application files.
The QuoteOn data file can be placed anywhere on your Psion but you should tell QuoteOn where it is by selecting Preferences from the Tools menu item.
Options for when Quotes are dispayed can also be selected from the preferences menu.
kABy default QuoteOn will display quotes when the Psion is switched on. If this is not required the setting can be changed by selecting Preferences from the Tools menu.
QuoteOn also provides an option to only display quotes on the first time that the Psion is switched on each day.
Closing the QuoteOn program will prevent quotes from being displayed at switch on.
Overview
QuoteOn is an application which displays famous quotes or sayings when you switch on your Psion. Quotes are selected at random from a standard data file and displayed either every time the Psion is switched on or only once per day.
Quick start
Selecting a Data file
Select the QuoteOn data file by selecting Preferences from the Tools menu.
Any Psion data file can be used for QuoteOn but it must be in the format of the sample file provided.
Editing a Data File
The QuoteOn data file can be edited using the standard Psion Data application. Select the file menu to run this option.
Note: QuoteOn will not be able to select records while the data file is being edited.
