  6. dCalc is a Reverse Polish Notation calculator for the Psion Series 5,
  7. 5mx, Revo, Series 7, Netbook and the EriksonMC218.

  9. INSTALLATION

  12. 1) dCalc comes as a ZIP file which can be unpacked on a PC or on the
  13. Psion using one of the many unzip programs available. The ZIP file
  14. contains a SIS file which must be transferred to the Psion and then
  15. installed using the Add/Remove control panel.  If you don't have this
  16. control panel yet, you can download it at

  19. 2) Once the SIS file is on your Series 5, highlight it and press
  20. enter. The program will be automatically installed. Any old dCalc
  21. currency files will be overwritten with the new one unless you reply
  22. NO to the dialog. You can save the old one if you wish
  23. (\System\Apps\dcalc\currency.txt)

  25. 3) You are now ready to run dCalc Its icon should appear on the
  26. 'Extras' bar. Please read the Help file before you use the
  27. program. There is an html version of the manual included in the ZIP
  28. file. It is not installed on the Psion but you might find it useful
  29. for example for easier viewing on a PC.

  52. dCalc for Psion Series 5 is a SHAREWARE program.  Shareware means that
  53. you have a trial period of 28 days in which you test the program to
  54. see if you like it and want to use it.  If you do want to keep it, you
  55. must register with us.

  57. Registration is very simple.  Please visit our web site or read the
  58. Help for instructions on how to register.

  60. Soon after registration you will receive a password by E-mail for the
  61. name you supply.  All you have to do then is to type exactly that name
  62. and password in the registration dialog. Registration will remove the
  63. Registration reminder dialogs.  Also, registered users will receive
  64. FREE technical support, and an E-mail whenever a new version is
  65. available for downloading.  Of course, you won't have to re-register
  66. for any future versions, they will be FREE.
