  12. Installation:
  13. ------------

  15. Installation from SIS file:
  16.  
  17. 1) Execute the HTMLConv.sis file on your pc or Psion.
  18.  
  19. 2) Choose C or D drive for the installation (make sure that there is enought
  20. disk space).
  21.  
  22. 3) The program will install itself.
  23.  
  24.  
  25. Installation from ZIP file:
  26.  
  27. 1) Make sure the \System folder is shown on your Series 5 system screen. If
  28. it's not, enable it in the 'Preferences' dialogue.
  29.  
  30. 2) Using PsiWin copy the files PYTHIA.OPO, PIQInfo.OPO, PIQInfo.RSC and
  31. PIQInfo.MBM to the folder \system\opl (you might have to create the folder)
  32.  
  33. 3) Go into \System\Apps on C: or D: and make a new folder called "HTMLConv"
  34.  
  35. 4) Using PsiWin, copy the following files to the new \System\Apps\HTMLConv
  36. folder:
  37.   HTMLConv.app
  38.   HTMLConv.aif
  39.   HTMLConv.mbm
  40.   HTMLConv.hlp
  41.   HTMLCrea.opo
  42.  
  43. 4) Copy the files systinfo.opx and sysram1.opx in the folder \system\opx
  44.  
  45. 5) A new icon should appear on your Extras bar
  46.  
  47.  
  48. Problems
  49. --------
  50.  
  51. 1. Read only files
  52.  
  53. Some times files become read only while being installed. None of the files
  54. should be read only. If you get any errors like the program is unable to
  55. write information to your Psion go through the program files to see if some
  56. of them are read only.
  57.  
  58. In the system-view you can open the file property window by selecting
  59. (highlighting) a file and pressing Ctrl-P. In the property window you can see
  60. and set/clear the read only checkbox.
  61.  
  62. 2. Copying between C and D
  63.  
  64. Be very careful when you move or copy applications between the C and D
  65. drives. It seems that the Psion is not correctly updated when applicaions are
  66. copied from C to D or vice versa.
  67.  
  68. Always delete the application directory from one drive before reinstalling on
  69. the other drive.
  70.  
  71. 3. Low on battery
  72.  
  73. When starting up this program for the first time a lot of writing is done to
  74. the disk. If your machine is low on battery these writes can go wrong and
  75. turn the application files bad. This should only be an issue when running the
  76. application the first time.
  77.  
  78. 4. Not enough memory
  79.  
  80. This program needs up to 300 Kb of free memory on the C drive. If you try to
  81. run the program with less than 300 Kb of free memory on the C drive it may
  82. not behave as expected.

  94.  - When opening the same HTML file twice with the Web Browser it might be
  95. cashed and, hence, not automatically reloaded. To reload the file press
  96. Ctrl-R.
